The Cream Factory: A Yummy Way to Exfoliate!

Is it just me or is the weather getting a lot colder these days? I know you guys won't admit it, but with days like these I find it a chore to take a shower because I don't have a heater at home. Lol.

To motivate myself in making my bath time a lot more deliciously fun, I treat my skin with a yummy dessert.

If you think this is another generic bath scrub that I'm going to review.. Don't worry, it's not.

A few weeks ago, I was invited by The Cream Factory PH to personally try out all their products.
One of which is their newly launched product, The Cream Factory: SCRUB-in-a-TUB.

I was warmly welcomed by their very awesome artist, Anne Vitug. She was really smart, no questions were left unanswered with her. Anne explained that The Cream Factory products are exclusively imported from the USA and made with real Netherlands' Goat's Milk.

Why the prized Goat's Milk? Because it is packed with vitamins that promises to nourish, protect, moisturize and promote collage growth. Plus, since their products are made from Goat's Milk, it will leave your clean without drying you out. Perfect for those who have sensitive and dry skin especially with our cold weather now.

Some People Like it Rough, Some Like it Gentle

Fortunately, SCRUB-in-a-TUB comes in three kinds to suit every individual's preferences...

Salty: This one has fine rock salt crystals for deep exfoliation. It comes in two variants, Seaweed for Revitalizing and Witch Hazel for Rejuvenating. The consistency of this scrub is very thick and comparable to a DQ ice cream. We we're literally flipping it over and it still stays in place. Lol. This one is similar to that expensive sea salt scrub that I've tried. However, this one might not be used for the face because I find this one the roughest of the three.

Creamy: This one is made with real walnut sprinkles to gently buff away skin impurities. It comes in two variants, Honey for Germ-Killing and Jojoba for Clarifying. It's the most gentle of the three in terms of exfoliation.

Yummy: This is my personal favorite of the three. Picture this, it's a chocolate scrub made with highly concentrated real cocoa bean bits to reawaken your skin in a seriously delicious way. It comes in two variants, Almond for Detoxifying and Cinnamon for Purifying.
This one is for medium exfoliation and not as rough as Salty and a little scrubbier than Creamy.

First Impressions

Honestly, I had a hard time choosing because everything smells great.

I got the one the Yummy in Almond. The scent was quite relaxing as I was scrubbing my body. As for the staying power of the scent, it lasts long. But not too long.

Remember, this is a scrub. Not an EDT or perfume.

If modern technology allows virtual scratch-n-sniff, you will be pleased with these.
Please be warned as the label says, this is for external use only. Don't try to eat this stuff!

It looks smaller in the pictures but in reality it's almost as big as my hand. Packaging is easy to use and Eco-friendly. However, prone to contamination if you keep sticking your fingers there. This is not really a big deal though. To avoid double dipping, what I did was I took of the cap and gently poured the contents.

My initial experience with this product was really good. It was a treat for the skin, it has no parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, toxic petrochemicals and other harmful ingredients. A little goes a long way because it is so thick and creamy. What more if I tried the thicker one in Salty, right? I think with this one it would take me a few months if used regularly.

Another thing I love about this product was the after shower feeling was just amazing!
I'd just let it sit for a few minutes and rinse, instant soft clean skin!
I love this product because compared to the scrubs I have tried in the past, those were too drying or too greasy for my taste. This was pretty much something in between.
My skin is so soft, I can't stop touching myself. Lol. Sounds wrong.
But you get the idea, I don't even have lotion on now.

Now I can feel confident with rubbing elbows with other people! :D
