Clinique's Cocktail Party

After the BDJ BOX x Revlon Nail Party, Jacqui, Arcee and I wanted to make the most of our weekend and

decided to visit Clinique's Cocktail Party at SM Aura. For those who aren't familiar with Clinique, it's one of the prestige skin care brands known for their gentle and allergy tested products that are 100% fragrance free. Except for their best-selling fragrances like Clinique Happy Heart of course. Personally, Clinique Happy Men is my favorite. I don't know why.

Since Jacqui was already familiar with the skin analysis app of Clinique from her last visit here, she taught me how to check what kind of skin type I had so that they would prescribe what products would suit me best. The results of the app will be quickly printed or send via email. Cool!

The results of my skin analysis? If you're having a hard time reading the print out, I'm a Skin Type 3: Combination Oily. Combination in a sense that I have an oily t-zone (which is the forehead, nose and the chin) and dry cheeks where I have enlarged pores.

Since not all people have the same skin type, Arcee also tried it too but she had a different result. 

Her skin concerns were too hard to identify that she needed to see a dermatologist to have hers diagnosed. Crazy, right?

While we were talking about our skin problems, the waiters were serving us lots of different hors d’oeuvres and Chardonnay wine. I love salmon sashimi so it was really hard to say no.. Just look at it!

Andddddd, guess who was also there? The incredibly hot actress Ara Mina came to party with us!

Ara Mina is so naturally beautiful that I joked to my friends that I badly needed a makeover so that I wouldn't look ugly next to her. Lol

I got this fierce makeover from their pretty Counter Manager, Ms. Malou Gagarin who gave me a glamorous night look which was totally appropriate for this party! Could you believe she created this eye makeup without a brush?

At the end of the party, we were given Chinese New Year gifts to take home with us. The creatively designed paper bag was filled with sample-sized Clinique goodies. Awww!

All in all, I thought most cocktail parties are boring. This one in particular was one of the exception. 

We got to meet new people, learned a lot more about the brand and my skin problem. 

Kudos to their Sales and Training Executive, Sir Christopher Isaac for organizing such wonderful event.
