I love multitasking and I'm sure most of us do. So how about a multitasking beauty product that works as much as you? Picture this.. a makeup that could take the place of three products!
Introducing the Chacott Finishing Powder Sparkle from Beauty Shopper PH! It's a long lasting, fragrance-free translucent fine powder from Japan that has won awards and has been highly raved online!
So what's so special about it? It functions as a 1.) Finishing powder that sets foundation and concealer to make it last longer. 2.) It could color correct your skin tone to a certain extent. It is available in 4 different colors (Natural, Ochre, Lavender and Banana) that caters to varying skin tone problems. For example, the Banana variant is for covering reddish skin and the Lavender variant is for countering yellowish skin.

A closer view of the product
Initially, I thought the Chacott Finishing Powder Sparkle would be a bit too glittery for my taste and that I'd end up looking like Edward Cullen being all sparkly and white. I'm actually glad it didn't turn out that way. The "sparkle" more of a shimmer than a glitter. It is nice since the iridescent shimmer gives you a fresh dewy glow that doesn't look like you've messed with a disco ball at a club.
Swatched heavily for emphasis. It looks like a hybrid between a highlighting powder and a setting powder. I'm definitely loving the subtle gold shimmers there! I don't know if you all could see it.

Don't be overwhelmed that it looks violet on the jar, it appears translucent on the skin. I assure you that you won't end up looking like Grimace when you're wearing this. The natural tint in the powder just cancels out the yellow in your skin. Think contrasting colors in the color wheel.
The finishing powder is finely-milled and goes on smoothly. It doesn't make my makeup cake unlike most mineral powders that I've tried. It's not chalky and it won't leave you looking too pale. Since it is long lasting, a little goes a long way. For me, it would usually take me more than a year to finish 30 grams.
The only thing I dislike about it is it doesn't come with a puff which is not really a deal breaker for me since I'd prefer to use my powder brush for this. Another thing I'm also not a fan of is it's a bit messy to use sometimes like most loose powders I have. I think it would be cool if they have this in compact form. But that's just me.
All in all, the Chacott Finishing Powder Sparkle is a splendid multi-functional beauty product that's a great addition to my kikay kit. If you're looking for a finishing powder that will add a boost to your regular FOTDs look no further!
