BDJ Box Beauty Social

Sorry for the overdue post, I was busy with my mini-thesis and other requirements.
Anyway, where do I begin? The BDJ Box Beauty Social is an event by Belle de Jour Power Planner. This event had a lot of different booths where you could try different products from Shiseido, Snoe, Revlon, Physiogel and many more.

Here are the past BDJ Boxes

Here's the Revlon booth, where they taught us Bellas how to put on makeup.

Goody was giving away free stuff for the first 500 registrants! That's my cousin right there!
Tagged him along because I don't want to keep all the fun to myself!
Here I am having my free beauty shot taken by a pro photographer! Talk about lucky!

Got my whiskers removed for free thanks to Browhaus. LOL
They even gave me a free voucher so I could come back for another upper lip threading. Neat right?

Then I got to attend four talks.

The first was Primed and Pretty with Krist Bansuelo.
Lucky to be in the presence of Physiogel's Makeup Artist!
I've learned that even though oilyness is next to ugliness. One must properly moisturize and prime skin to that makeup application would be much more flawless. Hydration is the key to a good healthy skin.

The second one was All Dolled Up with Archie Tolentino.
Maybelline's Makeup Artist, Archie Tolentino taught us that liquid foundation application
should be done in a circular motion. He also pointed out that there are different kinds of foundation that compliment certain skin types.

The third talk that I got because I was an early bird registrant was
Bridal Beauty by Lilian Yeung.
Lilian Yeung is Estee Lauder's Makeup Artist. I was privileged to be taught bridal makeup because it's one of the most hardest things to pull off. Trust me. The bride must look dewy and blooming during her big day.

Last but not the least, Day to Night Glam Makeup by Bianca Valerio
I love her!!! Of all the talks i've attended, this was definitely one of the most memorable.
It was sad though that she wasn't able to do a makeup tutorial because her driver accidentally smashed her makeup into bits! Sad. She was so generous with her skincare tips.
She taught us that 80% of Filipinos have combination type skin. And that it is advisable for people with combination skin to use different products of certain areas on their faces.

All in all. I had fun! I'm totally looking forward to more BDJ events.
They really know how to spoil their Bellas (especially with their loot bags).
Thank you again BDJ! You guys never fail to make such awesome events! Keep it up!
