Yapo's Giveaway!

I can't believe i'm joining another giveaway but I just can't help it! I've always wondered how a Diamond Lash feels like on my eyelids (because I find most false lashes too heavy).
And based from previous reviews from Yapo made me want them more!

I've seen a lot of her pics rocking that tareme look and i've wanted to try them because for a change.

Anyway. If you are like me, desperate for a pair of DLs you should join Yapo's 200th followers blog giveaway!

Blue Cheetah Nails!

It's that time of the year where they'll say animal prints are in.
I'm not a fan of clothings with animal prints so i've decided to design my nails instead.

Here's the result:
Photobucket

How to do it:
1.) Prepare a light base color for your nails. This one I used Chic Classic's Love Orchid in Glaze.
2.) Choose another color and add blobs to your nails. I used Caronia's Blue Chill in Frosted.
It doesn't have to be perfect. You won't need a dotting tool for this. But if you are having trouble with adding them i'd suggest you use chopsticks or toothpicks. In my case I just used the brush itself. Make sure it is thin enough so it would dry easily. Concentrate on a side and leave a blank space for the base to peep.
3.) Here's where the fun part begins. Outline the sides of the blobs. My tip is don't make it too perfect. It's best when you make the corners a little bit thicker on the other side. I used a nail pen for this but a nail art brush is also good.
4.) Lastly, protect your design by using a clear nail polish. Any brand would do.

Optional: Taking long to dry your nails? Try Bobbie's Quickdry!

I hope you enjoyed this post and have fun painting your nails!

MEG's visit to UP Diliman!

After my MS1 class with Jyasu we walked to Long Island to have our lunch.
While we were walking there we saw this huge tent and a bus. It was MEG promoting Tupperware Brands Color Collection. I've heard raves about their BB Cream w/Gluta so I browsed around.

I'm the one wearing that short grey dress...

MEG Magazine was giving away back issues & lanyards for people who liked their Facebook page.
Pretty cool right? I'm not maarte and I have this "girl-crush" on Lovi Poe so why not?

Muy caliente!

If you haven't seen MEG Magazine's FB page, you should really check it out.
It has useful articles from fashion advice to acads and everything in between.
