Contact Lens Review: O-Lens Jenith 3 Color Pink

As a kid, it was a dream of mine to be as pretty as Marin from Akazukin Cha Cha. Who wouldn't want to be a mermaid, right? What makes her look stand out is her unique dazzling locks that matches her eyes. I love it. I always wanted to rock pink hair way way back when I saw my idol Xiaxue effortlessly slaying every selfie with it.

Since I'm not yet ready to commit to something as drastic as bleaching my hair to get it pink, the closest I could do for the meantime is to channel Marin through these lenses!

Introducting my first ever pink contacts, the O-Lens Jenith 3 Color Pink from Pinkicon! To be honest, I was second guessing whether I should get these since I thought they wouldn't look as good on morena skin. But I'm glad I didn't let that stop me and I still got them anyway! Find out why! Check out the complete review below!
The O-Lens Jenith 3 Color is available in Pink, Sky Gray, Brown, Natural Gray, Green and Blue.

Here's what is inside the Pinkicon catalog. This is a useful guide if you're planning on purchasing your next lens since you could see how it would look like on your eyes and other detailed information about it. I didn't open it fully here because I can't capture it on camera... it's really big.

Here's the user manual with complete do's and dont's for proper use of contact lenses

In terms of packaging, this one takes the cake! I love the color palette and the geometric pattern together..
It's so aesthetically pleasing!

DESIGN

Here's what they look like when worn:

Natural Light

With Flash

Indoor Light

Rating: 4/5 stars

The O-Lens Jenith 3 Color Pink has a cool pink 3-toned starburst pattern with a soft limbal ring that looks so natural.. even if pink eyes in humans aren't genetically possible. Lol. If you ask me, I think this is a great alternative if you want a smaller version of the popular Dueba Puffy 3 Tone Pink. What I find lovely about these is how the fine lines of the yellow inner ring mixed with the pink outer ring blends so seamlessly on the eyes to give it more depth and dimension.

The only thing I don't like about these is the front and the back print of the lens look exactly the same, so it's quite tricky to figure out which side is right.

COLOR

From L-R: Lenspop Bunny 3 Color Gray, O-Lens Jenith 3 Color Pink and GEO Tri-color Green

Rating: 3/5 stars

The O-Lens Jenith 3 Color Pink provides a subtle color change that shows up even on dark eyes. If you're worried on whether it would be appear to be too bold and vibrant... trust me, it's not. It's 100% wearable and blends beautifully on your natural eye color due to its translucent graphic print. But because of that, there will be times that they don't look "pink." Probably it's because the yellow inner ring and your natural eye color will affect how the colors will show up. Some of my friends said it ranges from pink, brown and violet depending on the lighting. Interesting.

ENLARGEMENT

Rating: 1/5 stars

Chances are if it looks natural, there won't be a thick limbal ring present. If there is a noticeable limbal ring present then it wouldn't look as natural. Since thick limbal rings are one of the factors in making your irises appear bigger than they are, don't expect any enlargement here. Another factor is the size of the lenses itself. These lightly colored lenses are just 14mm in diameter with a small 13.4mm graphic print so it won't do as much as compared to a 14.5mm, 14.8mm and 15mm.

COMFORT

Rating: 5/5 stars

This is an easy 5 stars for the O-Lens Jenith 3 Color Pink. Of all the cosmetic lenses that I've reviewed so far, these are the most comfortable of all. I've been wearing these for a month and never felt any discomfort or irritation EVEN with overextended use. They don't dry out my eyes or slide around my eyeballs. It's like I feel like I'm not wearing any contacts at all.

OVERALL

If you want something different from what others would usually sport YET wearable and comfortable, you must try the O-Lens Jenith 3 Color Pink. I honestly thought this would only look good with people who have fair skin but I think they would suit everyone. I think that these are interesting to experiment with and I definitely believe that you could rock this with or without any makeup. Can't wait to create more looks with these!

Here's some of my other photos wearing these:
